Doodhi ka Halwa

Doodhi ka halwa is a very tasty and healthy sweet dish. The main ingredient of this recipe is the Doodhi/ash gourd. This recipe is very easy to prepare and can be stored for a week. It is basically a north Indian sweet dish. People of all age group will love this Doodhi halwa
Ingredients
500 gms Grated Ash Gourd Doodhi
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Desi Ghee
1 Tspn Cardamom Powder Elaichi Powder
15-20 Cashew Kaju
Instructions
Preparation of Ash Gourd
Take Ash Gourd and peel its outer part. Now with the help of a grater, grate Ash Gourd finely and keep aside.
Ash Gourd Halwa Preparation
Heat a pan and add grated Ash Goud to it.
Cover and Cook Grated Ash Gourd for 5-6 minute in medium flame till all moisture reduces.
Now add sugar and mix well until sugar dissolves completely. 
Cover and Cook Ash Gourd for another 4-5 minutes.
Add Desi ghee and mix it very well and cook all ingredients very well for a couple of minutes.
Once moisture is reduced totally and Cashew to at mix it well.

Now finally add Cardamom Powder to it and Doodhi ka Halwa is ready to serve. Enjoy it.
